Job Opening: Art & Craft Teacher - Grades 1 to 8
Location: Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu
School Level: Primary + Middle School | CBSE
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Conduct Art & Craft classes for Grade 1 to 8 as per school curriculum
- Activities: Teach drawing, painting, sketching, coloring, paper craft, clay modeling, origami, best-out-of-waste, and festival-based crafts
- Creativity: Encourage imagination, self-expression, and hands-on learning through fun art projects
- School Events: Prepare students for art competitions, exhibitions, annual day, and decorate school/classrooms for functions and festivals
- Material Handling: Manage art supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure safe use of materials
- Assessment: Evaluate student work, maintain art portfolios, and give constructive feedback
- Planning & Revision: Prepare lesson plans, activity calendars, and revise them based on themes, seasons, and school events
Qualification:
- Diploma / Degree in Fine Arts / BFA
- Minimum 1-2 years experience teaching Art & Craft in a school
- Good knowledge of various art and craft techniques
Skills Required:
- Creative, patient, and good with children
- Strong drawing, painting, and craft skills
- Activity-based classroom management
- Ability to organize exhibitions and school decoration work
Other:
- Coordinate with teachers for integrated projects
- Participate in PTMs and school programs
- Passion for making art engaging for all students
