Now we’re powering up, and we need a kickass Video Editor to help us bring our vision to life through jaw-dropping, hype-inducing visuals that break the scroll.
As part of this role, you’ll work not only on GlitchOver’s content, but also across multiple brands and projects within our portfolio, giving you the opportunity to work on diverse content, styles, and creative campaigns.
If you’re someone who lives and breathes editing, understands what makes content click, and can turn raw footage into something people have to watch — we want you on the team.
What You’ll Do:
1. Edit high-energy, scroll-stopping content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks, and long-form videos.
2. Create cinematic highlight reels, creator trailers, tutorials, sizzles, and launch teasers for features and events.
3. Translate raw gameplay and stream clips into emotion-packed visual stories.
4. Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to build a consistent and future-forward visual language.
5. Optimize edits for platform-specific formats and fast-paced publishing cycles.
What You Should Know:
1. Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, (Best if you know Davinci Resolve for Color Grading)
2. Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and hype-building.
3. Quick turnaround skills without sacrificing quality.
4. Deep love for memes, gaming culture, and fan communities.
5. An eye for details that turn good edits into great ones.
6. Comfort working under creative direction, but confident enough to push your own ideas forward.
7. Motion Design / VFX for smooth transitions and eye-candy effects.
8. Understanding of algorithms (retention cirves, CTAs, thumbnails).
9. Gaming platforms, streamers, esports, Twitch lingo — if “chat going wild” gives you goosebumps, you’ll fit right in.
10. Color grading, SFX layering, text animation, or 3D – we're all about that extra flair.
What You’ll Work On:
1. Creator announcement videos that get fans hyped.
2. Event promos for things like Valorant tournaments, giveaways, or alpha drops.
3. Tutorials and feature walk-throughs to show off what GlitchOver can do.
4. Viral reel campaigns and branded meme edits that live rent-free in timelines.
5. Behind-the-scenes stories from the GlitchOver HQ and Discord community.
