Job Description
We are looking for an experienced VMC Setter with 10+ years of experience in VMC machine setup. The candidate should be capable of independently setting machines, selecting tools and fixtures, and ensuring quality production with minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently set up VMC machines for production.
- Perform tool setting, fixture setting, and offset corrections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Select suitable cutting tools and fixtures for machining.
- Conduct first-piece inspection before production.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machine setup and machining-related issues.
- Coordinate with operators for smooth production.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive checks.
- Follow all safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a VMC Setter.
- Strong knowledge of VMC machine setup and tooling.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Indicator.
- Knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controls is preferred.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
