The Role
As an Electrical Engineer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Electrical system design for the assigned project interacting with other disciplines, client and vendors as required.
- Monitor own progress and ensure it comes within project schedule
- Conduct site visit and data gathering.
- Preparation of load list and equipment list.
- Preparation of calculations for electrical systems such as voltage drop, equipment sizing, lighting, earthing and cable sizing etc.
- Preparation power system study reports and relay coordination using software.
- Preparation of electrical power distribution concepts, SLD, schematic diagrams etc.
- Preparation of cable schedules and interconnection schedules.
- Preparation design basis.
Preparation of specifications and data sheets.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Preparation of material requisition (Requisition For Quotation).
- Preparation of technical bid evaluation reports.
- Review equipment vendor data.
- Give input to Drafting personnel for preparation of drawings.
- Checking of drawings including interface with related drawings of own discipline and other discipline
- Maintenance of design file and relevant data etc.
- Assistance to Lead Engineer.
- Adherence to the committed schedule.
- Control of electrical design budget and schedule.
- Technical supervision of electrical designers and draftsmen.
- Preparation of manhour estimates to perform project tasks based on tender scope documents and scope change.
- Adherence to Quality Assurance system, applicable procedures, Design basis, Applicable design guides / Standards / Specifications as applicable.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
