About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven IT Project Manager to lead our technical projects and drive successful delivery for our global clients. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects while managing cross-functional teams and acting as the primary point of contact for our US-based customers. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background combined with proven leadership and client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation and scoping to deployment and post-launch support.
- US Client Management: Act as the primary liaison for US-based customers, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and high client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and manage a team of developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Conduct regular status meetings, deliver progress reports, and align project goals with client business objectives.
- Resource & Time Management: Create detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure deliverables are met within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project roadblocks, technical risks, and scope creep, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Process Improvement: Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous improvement practices within the team.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Overall Experience: 7 to 10 years of total experience in the IT industry (software development, IT services, etc.).
- Project Management Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience independently managing IT projects.
- Team Management: 2 to 3 years of experience successfully leading and mentoring technical teams.
- US Client Exposure: At least 2 to 3 years of direct experience interacting with and managing US customers (understanding of US work culture and business communication is mandatory).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills to effectively collaborate with international stakeholders.
- Methodology Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Time Zone Flexibility: Willingness to overlap with US business hours for client meetings and critical communications.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Valid Project Management certifications such as PMP, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or PRINCE2.
- Familiarity with modern project management tools like Jira, Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
- Previous background as a Software Developer, QA, or Systems Analyst before transitioning to project management.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
