Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Executive who can handle both office-based sales follow-ups and scheduled client/site visits.
This is not a pure field sales role and not a pure desk sales role. The person will be responsible for handling leads, generating new business opportunities, speaking with customers, visiting client locations when required, conducting product demos, coordinating quotations, following up for POs/payments, and maintaining daily sales updates.
The role will involve working with B2B clients, banks, small businesses, clinics, hospitals, corporates, and individual customers/families looking for accessibility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle assigned inbound and outbound sales opportunities across B2B and B2C segments.
- Generate new leads through calling, Google search, IndiaMART, references, LinkedIn, market research, and local business outreach.
- Follow up with banks, branch managers, IFMs, small businesses, clinics, hospitals, corporates, and individual customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable ramp/accessibility solutions.
- Conduct product demos independently after training.
- Visit client sites when required for demos, requirement understanding, and sales discussions.
- Capture and share proper site photos/videos where required for internal coordination.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for quotation preparation.
- Share quotations with customers and explain pricing, product suitability, and next steps.
- Handle basic negotiation and move leads towards closure.
- Follow up for purchase orders, advance payments, and payment confirmations.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth handover after order closure.
- Maintain accurate lead updates in CRM/Excel.
- Submit daily reports on calls, follow-ups, visits, demos, quotations, and closures.
- Ensure no assigned lead is missed or left without proper follow-up.
- Support institutional and corporate sales efforts when required.
- Travel locally and occasionally outside Mumbai as per business requirements.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who can speak confidently, follow up seriously, visit clients when needed, and close business without needing constant chasing from management.
This role is suitable for someone who wants to grow in sales and business development while working with meaningful products that solve real accessibility problems.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Freshers with strong communication skills and sales interest may apply.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer handling, lead conversion, or client coordination.
- Graduate preferred, but strong sales candidates without graduation may also apply.
- Good spoken English and Hindi are required.
- Tamil language knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Must be based in Mumbai or willing to commute to Dahisar East.
- Prior experience in healthcare, medical devices, mobility products, B2B sales, infrastructure products, or customer-facing sales will be preferred.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong communication and customer handling ability.
- Confidence to speak with facility managers, branch managers, business owners, families, and individual customers.
- Good follow-up discipline.
- Ability to handle both phone-based sales and scheduled client visits.
- Basic negotiation skills.
- Comfortable maintaining CRM/Excel updates.
- Ability to conduct product demos after training.
- Ownership of assigned leads from first contact to closure.
- Daily reporting discipline.
- Ability to coordinate internally and keep deals moving.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in B2B sales or institutional sales.
- Experience dealing with banks, clinics, hospitals, societies, or corporates.
- Experience with IndiaMART, CRM, Google Sheets, or Excel.
- Own two-wheeler preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with using tools like ChatGPT for drafting emails, follow-ups, or customer communication.
Products Handled
The role will primarily focus on wheelchair ramps and related accessibility products, including:
- Portable wheelchair ramps
- Suitcase ramps
- Telescopic ramps
- Threshold ramps
- Other ramp/accessibility products as required
Compensation
- Fixed salary: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month, based on experience and interview performance.
- Revenue-based performance incentives over and above fixed salary.
- Travel reimbursement as per company policy.
