Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Agriculture Process Engineer to lead process development and value-added production initiatives for agro-based raw materials. The role will involve process design, product development, scale-up, and plant operations for conversion of castor, mustard, and other agricultural crop into high-value products. The position is based at Rajasthan.
Responsibilities & Duties: -
- Develop and optimize chemical processes for value-added agro products.
- Lead pilot trials, process scale-up, and commercial production.
- Work on processing of castor, mustard, vegetable oils, and related feedstocks.
- Improve yield, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Establish SOPs, process parameters, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Support commissioning and stabilization of plant operations.
- Identify new product opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain process documentation and technical records.
Qualification & Skills
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Bio Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in castor, mustard, vegetable oil processing, oleochemicals, or agro-based chemical products.
- Experience in process design, scale-up, and plant operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of process safety and quality systems.
- Candidates required should be from Northern Part of India.
- Applicants should provide detailed experience of products handled, plants worked in, capacities managed, and major achievements, while applying for the job.
