Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for handling the company’s accounting activities, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements. The role also includes managing billing, tracking recovery collections, and supporting management with financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and verify client invoices based on recovery or collection services.
- Track payments received from clients and maintain proper records.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
- Manage bank reconciliation and monitor company expenses.
- Support payroll processing and employee incentive calculations.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and financial control in the organization.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or any related accounting qualification.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in collection agencies, NBFCs, or financial service companies is preferred.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation (GST & TDS).
- Experience in Tally, Excel, or accounting software.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
