Location: Goregaon, Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
About the Role
The Estimation / Tendering Executive will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, techno-commercial proposals, tender submissions, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely completion of all tender-related activities while maintaining high standards of quality and documentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Estimation
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and techno-commercial offers for Fire Fighting System projects.
- Study tender documents, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and coordinate with the Design Team to understand project requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders with complete and accurate documentation.
Fire Fighting Product Knowledge
Good knowledge of:
- Fire Fighting Systems
- Pipes & Pipe Fittings
- Valves (Gate Valve, Butterfly Valve, NRV, Foot Valve)
- Pumps
- Hydrants
- Hoses & Nozzles
- MV Water Spray Nozzles
- Sprinklers
- Alarm Valves
- Deluge Valves
- Foam Systems & Accessories
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Float enquiries to vendors and obtain competitive quotations within timelines.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Prepare vendor comparison statements for material procurement.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department whenever required.
Tender Management
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial bids before the deadline.
- Maintain records of all tenders submitted and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants for technical clarifications and tender amendments.
- Ensure minimal resubmissions by maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS Reports.
- Track enquiry-to-order conversion ratios.
- Maintain proper records, filing systems, and tender documentation.
- Provide administrative support as required.
Eligibility CriteriaEducation
- Graduate or Undergraduate (Any Discipline)
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Estimation/Tendering, preferably in the Fire Fighting Industry.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting Systems and tendering procedures.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in estimation, costing, and vendor comparison.
- Good understanding of procurement processes.
Computer Skills
- Advanced MS Excel (Formulas, Lookups, Data Management)
- MS Word
- Outlook
- Overall proficiency in Microsoft Office
