Job Responsibilities
- Operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining instructions.
- Perform machine setting, tool loading, workpiece loading, and job changeovers.
- Check and adjust tool offsets, work offsets, and cutting parameters.
- Operate CNC/VMC machines according to production requirements.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, and height gauge.
- Inspect finished components and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and inform the supervisor of machine issues.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
- Complete production and inspection records.
Required Skills
- 1 year of experience as a VMC/CNC Operator.
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters.
- Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC controls is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic measuring instruments.
- Good attention to quality and safety.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
- 1 year relevant VMC Operator experience.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
