This role demands equal competence in identifying and winning new contracts, managing long-term client relationships, building SLN's brand in the MEP/EPC market, and supporting tender processes with intelligence-backed proposals.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hunter's drive — someone who understands the EPC business ecosystem, has existing relationships with real estate developers, government bodies, or industrial clients, and can translate market opportunities into signed contracts and long-term partnerships.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Business Development & Revenue Growth

- Identify, pursue, and close new MEP/EPC contracts, electrical infrastructure projects, fire protection, and T&D opportunities.
- Build a robust sales pipeline covering short-term (0–3 months), mid-term (3–6 months), and long-term (6–12 months) opportunities.
- Target key client segments: RERA-registered developers, Tier-1 real estate brands, industrial plants, IT parks, hospitals, data centres, hotels, and government departments.
- Lead commercial negotiations on new project awards — pricing strategy, scope alignment, payment terms, and contract finalisation.
- Track and report on pipeline conversion, win rates, and revenue forecasts to the MD on a weekly basis.
B. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain C-suite and decision-maker relationships with project directors, procurement heads, estate managers, and key accounts at existing and prospect client organisations.
- Conduct regular structured client visits, presentations, and capability showcases for SLN's project portfolio.

- Maintain a client CRM database with full interaction history, project pipeline, and next-action schedule.
- Lead client entertainment, site visits, and project review meetings to strengthen relationships and discover new opportunities.
C. Tender, Bid & Proposal Management
- Identify and track relevant tenders across GEM, CPWD, State PWDs, private developer RFQs, and EPC bid portals.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Contracts, and Finance teams to prepare competitive, technically sound bid packages.

- Represent SLN at industry events, developer conferences, CREDAI/ASSOCHAM forums, and trade exhibitions.
- Develop sector-specific marketing collateral — targeted pitch decks for real estate, industrial, data centre, and government segments.
- Build SLN's brand recognition among Hyderabad's top-tier developer community and expand visibility to other key markets.
E. Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
- Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing strategies, project wins, and market positioning in the MEP/EPC space.
- Track upcoming large-scale real estate and infrastructure projects in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and other target markets.
- Provide the MD with monthly market intelligence reports covering pipeline opportunities, competitive landscape, and strategic recommendations.

F. Internal Coordination & Handover
- Coordinate closely with Contracts & Commercial team during proposal stage to ensure commercial terms are correctly represented.
- Facilitate seamless bid-to-execution handover — brief the project team on client expectations, commercial commitments, and scope details.
- Work with the Finance team on credit assessment of new clients and payment milestone structuring during contract negotiations.
- Support the MD in investor presentations, banking relationship meetings, and strategic partner discussions.
G. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare and present weekly BD pipeline reports covering leads, proposals submitted, negotiations, and orders confirmed.
