The HR Executive is a key member of the Human Resources department, responsible for supporting various HR functions and initiatives. This role involves assisting in recruitment and selection processes, managing employee records and documentation, coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding, assisting in performance management activities, and providing general HR administrative support. The HR Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting the overall employee experience within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential candidates.
- Assist in drafting employment contracts and offer letters.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientation sessions, and introduction to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
- Assist in maintaining HR databases, records, and filing systems.
- Prepare and update HR-related documents, such as employee handbooks, policies, and procedures manuals.
- Manage and update employee records, including personal information, attendance, leave, and performance data.
- Generate HR reports and maintain HR metrics.
- Assist in the performance appraisal process, including tracking and monitoring performance review cycles.
- Maintain performance records and documentation.
- Address employee queries and provide general HR-related information.
- Assist in handling employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and employee recognition programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Keep updated with changes in employment legislation and communicate relevant updates to HR team and employees.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or Finance related field.
- Experience level - 0 to 2 years
- Previous experience in an HR role or relevant internship experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HR principles and practices.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
