We are seeking passionate and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) and Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) professionals to join our culinary team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of their assigned kitchen section. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Manage or assist in the daily operations of an assigned kitchen section.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and served on time while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items using FIFO procedures.
- Minimize food waste and maintain portion control to support cost management.
- Supervise, train, and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants as required.
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with menu preparation, recipe adherence, and daily production planning.
- Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use.
- Comply with all company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred.
- Demi Chef de Partie: 1–3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Chef de Partie: 3–5 years of relevant kitchen experience with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and during flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
