Job Summary
Maks Automation is looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our machine assembly team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical wiring, panel wiring, machine installation, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery, conveyors, and automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical wiring and assembly of packaging machines, conveyors, and automation equipment.
- Wire electrical control panels as per electrical schematics and drawings.
- Install and connect motors, sensors, drives, PLC panels, and control components.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Carry out electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of machines.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults during assembly and installation.
- Coordinate with the mechanical, design, and production teams during machine build activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and quality requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with 5S and safety practices.
- Report electrical issues and suggest improvements for efficient machine performance.
Requirements
- Qualification: ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in industrial machine wiring, panel wiring, automation equipment, or manufacturing industries.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of control panels, motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, relays, contactors, and pneumatic/electrical components.
- Experience in packaging machinery, conveyor systems, SPMs, or industrial automation will be an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
