Key Responsibilities
- Operate lathe machines (Conventional/CNC) efficiently and safely.
- Perform turning, facing, threading, grooving, drilling, and boring operations.
- Set up machines with required tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and process sheets accurately.
- Ensure components are manufactured within specified tolerances.
- Vernier caliper
- Micrometer
- Bore gauge
- Dial indicator
- Thread gauge
- Conduct in-process inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimum rejection.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Report machine abnormalities or tool wear to supervisors immediately.
- Optimize machining parameters for productivity and tool life.
- Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Adhere to ISO/quality management procedures.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Turner Trade or relevant machining qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in turning operations.
- Experience in heavy engineering/manufacturing industries preferred.
- Knowledge of conventional lathe and CNC turning operations is an added advantage.
Technical Skills Required
- Reading engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Understanding of tolerances and fits.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance.
- Ability to work independently on machining jobs.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
