Job Description – Site Surveyor
Position: Site Surveyor
Experience: 1-2 Years
Location: Construction Site
Salary: 20,000 – 25,000 per month

Job Responsibilities
- Carry out site surveying and setting-out activities as per drawings.
- Conduct level, alignment, and measurement checks at site.
- Set out building lines, grid lines, columns, foundations, and other structural works.
- Take accurate site measurements and maintain survey records.
- Check levels and coordinates using surveying instruments.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Engineers for setting-out works.
- Verify dimensions and elevations as per approved drawings.
- Monitor construction work to ensure correct positioning and levels.
- Prepare and maintain daily survey reports and records.
- Assist in quantity measurements when required.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in levels, alignment, or dimensions.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of surveying instruments.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of Total Station and Auto Level.
- Knowledge of setting out and construction surveying.
- Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
- Knowledge of coordinates, levels, benchmarks, and grid lines.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of building, foundation, column, slab, road, and other civil works.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction site surveying.
- Hands-on experience with Total Station and Auto Level is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Good accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently at site.
- Knowledge of construction drawings and site execution.
- Willingness to work at project sites.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
