Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled English Teacher to train aspirants preparing for defence entrance exams such as NDA, AFCAT, and CDS. The candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive English language instruction tailored to the specific demands of these competitive exams, helping students develop strong language skills necessary to clear written tests and excel in interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons focused on NDA, AFCAT, and CDS exam syllabi.
- Teach all aspects of English including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing skills, and communication.
- Prepare students for various English language tasks such as:
- Sentence improvement
- Error spotting and correction
- Cloze tests and para jumbles
- Synonyms and antonyms
- Reading comprehension passages
- Essay and précis writing (especially for CDS)
- Letter and report writing
- Design and administer regular tests, quizzes, and mock exams to monitor progress.
- Analyze student performance and provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching.
- Develop and update teaching materials, notes, and practice exercises aligned with latest exam patterns.
- Guide students on time management, answering techniques, and exam strategies.
- Assist students in improving spoken English and communication skills, preparing them for the SSB interview phase.
- Stay updated on the latest exam trends, syllabus changes, and best teaching practices.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure holistic training.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in defence exam coaching.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with NDA, AFCAT, and CDS exam formats and requirements.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and platforms for online coaching.
- Patience and adaptability to work with students of varied learning levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in coaching for defence entrance exams (NDA, AFCAT, CDS).
- Exposure to SSB interview preparation and communication training.
- Ability to create innovative learning materials and online content.
