Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, practical and clinical training, student mentoring, academic activities, and supporting research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and clinical training.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, presentations, and assessments.
- Supervise students during practical and clinical postings.
- Conduct internal assessments, examinations, assignments, and practical evaluations.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and departmental activities.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, clinical records, and departmental documentation.
- Assist in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Encourage and support student research and project work.
- Contribute to research publications and departmental research activities.
- Follow University and applicable NCAHP regulatory requirements.
Eligibility
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 55% marks/equivalent, as applicable.
- Fresh MOT graduates may be considered for entry-level appointment, subject to applicable institutional/regulatory requirements and the University’s performance progression framework.
- Relevant teaching/clinical experience will be an advantage.
