Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Special Educator who can identify, assess, and provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, including specific learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction in academics and life skills
Collaborate with class teachers, counselors, and parents to create an inclusive classroom environment
Modify curriculum and teaching methods as per the needs of differently-abled students
Conduct assessments and maintain detailed progress records
Promote social integration and emotional well-being of special needs students
Work closely with the school’s inclusion team to ensure compliance with CBSE and RTE guidelines
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education / Rehabilitation Psychology / Child Development (preferred)
B.Ed. in Special Education or equivalent qualification (RCI registration will be an added advantage)
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Special Educator in a school
Strong knowledge of different learning disabilities and inclusive education practices
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
