We believe that choosing the right career can change someone’s life. We’re looking for an Academic & Career Counsellor who genuinely enjoys helping students make confident career decisions and guiding them throughout their learning journey.
The Role
This isn’t just an admissions role.
We’re looking for someone who will become the first trusted advisor for every student who walks into Reveforge.
Your responsibility isn’t simply explaining courses.
Your responsibility is to understand each student’s goals, recommend the right learning path, support parents in making informed decisions, and ensure every student has an outstanding experience from enquiry to enrollment.
You’ll work closely with the founders, trainers, and placement team to help students build successful careers.
Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about career opportunities.
- Understand students’ interests, strengths, and career goals.
- Guide students in choosing the right course.
- Follow up with enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Conduct counselling sessions (online and offline).
- Manage student admissions and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate student records in the CRM.
- Coordinate with trainers and the placement team.
- Assist students throughout their learning journey.
- Handle admission documentation and fee coordination.
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents.

Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Confidence speaking with students and parents.
- Ability to build trust quickly.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office / Google Workspace).
- Ability to manage CRM and student records.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Preferred
- Experience in Education Counselling, Admissions, Customer Success, HR, or Sales.
- Experience using CRM software.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Freshers with excellent communication skills and the right attitude are encouraged to apply.

Interview Process
Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical counselling exercise.
Career Counselling Challenge
You’ll conduct a 15-minute mock counselling session with one of our team members acting as a student.
We’ll evaluate:
