Position: EPUB Production Executive
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Experience: 1–3 years in EPUB/eBook production preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Convert and produce high-quality EPUB files from PDF/source files.
- Handle complex books, including academic, technical, and structured content.
- Ensure proper formatting of text, headings, tables, images, equations, footnotes, references, and other elements.
- Perform EPUB validation and quality checks.
- Identify and fix formatting, structural, and rendering issues.
- Ensure the EPUB output meets client specifications and publishing standards.
- Coordinate with the XML and WebPDF production teams when required.
- Complete assigned pages within the agreed production timeline.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of EPUB production and structure.
- Experience with HTML/CSS and EPUB files.
- Familiarity with EPUB validation tools.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to handle complex content and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of XML is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in digital publishing/eBook production.
- Experience working with academic, technical, or STM content is preferred.
