Job Summary:
Flexpro Electricals Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager with strong technical knowledge in electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations for our flameproof product manufacturing, ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical components used in flameproof switchgear, junction boxes, and lighting products
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for electrical raw materials and components
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency
- Maintain strong coordination with production, planning, and design departments
- Verify technical specifications of materials as per engineering requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety norms
- Handle purchase documentation, PO creation, and vendor records
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and improvements
- Track market trends and pricing for electrical materials
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)/M.B.A./B.COM
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in purchase department /manufacturing industry
- Prior experience in flameproof product manufacturing will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
