A Paper Mill Production Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and optimizing the paper manufacturing process to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety, and cost objectives are achieved. Production Manager ensures that production is safe, efficient, cost-effective, and consistently delivers high-quality paper while meeting customer demand and business objective
- Plan and supervise daily paper production.
- Ensure production targets are achieved on time.
- Supervison of other department activity and coordinate with Boiler, Rewinder,Electrical, Pulp Mill, Yard, and ETP
- Monitor product quality and maintain quality standards.
- Manage machine operation, maintenance, and minimize downtime.
- Control raw material usage and reduce production costs.
- Ensure workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Lead, train, and supervise production staff.
- Prepare production reports and coordinate with maintenance, quality,
- Improve production efficiency through continuous process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Analyze production data for continuous improvement.
- Monitor raw material consumption.
- Reduce waste, scrap, and energy consumption.
- Improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Ensure adequate stock of pulp, chemicals, and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse departments.
- Monitor finished goods inventory.
