Position: Senior Software Engineer- Mainframe Developer

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL, JCL, and VSAM/DB2 programs
- handle VSAM files and DB2 queries
- Create and modify batch jobs and online (CICS) programs
- Understand requirements and insure programs meet business and functional requirements
Client Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, issues, and deliverables.
- Communicate clear on status meetings and provide clear, concise reports to clients.
- Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Individual Contribution:
- Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS.
- Good to have knowledge of DB2, SAS, REXX
- Perform code reviews and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of applications.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues promptly.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Must-Have Skills:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2.
- Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and development practices.
- Experience with batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP).
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle client communication professionally and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Work Environment:
- This is completely work from office in client ODC and no remote working available.
- This role may require work in flexible hours/shifts.
Flexibility to work in different time zones to manage offshore teams and client communications
