Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated GIS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in GIS data processing, map creation, feature extraction, quality checking, and Delivery Process
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the GIS team to ensure efficient project execution and timely delivery.
· Create, edit, and maintain GIS databases and maps.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
· Digitize and update spatial features based on project specifications.
· Interpret aerial imagery and topographic maps.
· Work with vector and raster datasets.
· Coordinate with the project team to meet delivery timelines.
· Prepare project reports and maintain documentation.
· Strong client interaction and presentation skills.
Required Skills
· Good knowledge of GIS concepts and spatial data.
· Basic understanding of coordinate systems and map projections.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
· Knowledge of Python scripting tools is an added advantage.
Software Skills
· ArcMap
· ArcGIS pro
· Global mapper
· QGIS
· AutoCAD
Qualification
· Bachelor or master’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
