The candidate will act as a frontline site supervisor responsible for supervising shuttering and formwork activities at site. The role involves monitoring labour teams, ensuring correct installation and dismantling of formwork systems, and supporting engineers in maintaining productivity, quality, and safety during formwork operations.
The position will work closely with Formwork Engineers, Tower Incharges, and site execution teams to ensure smooth and efficient formwork operations.
Supervise installation, alignment, and dismantling of formwork systems at the site.
Ensure correct assembly of formwork for columns, walls, beams, slabs, and shear walls.
Monitor shuttering work to ensure proper alignment, levels, and structural stability.
Manage and supervise shuttering carpenters, helpers, and labour teams.
Ensure proper deployment of labour, tools, and materials for daily formwork activities.
Maintain discipline and productivity of formwork teams.
Support execution of different formwork systems including:
Aluminium Formwork Systems
Conventional Formwork Systems
Safety Screen Climbing Systems
Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS)
Assist engineers in shifting, cycling, and reuse of formwork materials.
Coordinate with Formwork Engineers and Tower Execution Teams for proper sequencing of formwork activities.
Ensure formwork work fronts are ready as per project construction schedule.
Immediately report execution issues or delays to engineers.
Ensure formwork installation follows proper workmanship and construction standards.
Identify alignment issues, gaps, or defects in shuttering work and inform engineers.
Ensure safe handling of formwork panels, climbing systems, and shuttering materials.
Monitor safe practices during formwork installation, dismantling, and shifting operations.
Ensure workers follow site safety rules and PPE requirements.
Provide daily updates on formwork progress, labour strength, and material requirements.
Inform engineers about site challenges, material shortages, or safety concerns.
Practical knowledge of shuttering and formwork operations in high-rise construction
Experience handling carpenter teams and shuttering labour
Basic understanding of formwork drawings and layouts (preferred)
Ability to manage multiple work fronts in formwork execution
Strong labour supervision and coordination skills
Good understanding of formwork installation and dismantling processes
Ability to work in fast-paced high-rise construction environments
Practical problem-solving ability at the site level
