Role Description
The Operations Administrator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the business across all business areas, including: consultancy, software development, product, commercial, business operations, and colleague management. The successful candidate will work from a set of defined policies, processes, and procedures to support the efficient delivery of administrative and operational activities across the organisation.
The successful candidate must have strong organisational skills and must be proactive in their approach to daily tasks. They must also have the ability to work on concurrent deadlines in a pressured environment; and deliver all responsibilities to agreed business standards.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Working with the consultancy, software development, product, commercial, business operations and colleague management teams to govern our internal operations and the efficient delivery of day-to-day business operations.
- Utilising the Service Desk system to organise and deliver all daily activities.
- Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way.
- Carrying our administration activities for our business areas.
- Organising meetings and taking minutes as required.
- Administration of events.
- Administration and management of our internal calendars and systems.
- Updating intellectual property and collateral to ensure it is up to date and consistent.
- Ensuring our processes (and supporting policies) are documented in the agreed systems.
- Maintaining internal standards and documentation associated with areas of responsibilities.
- Providing suggestions and areas of improvement back into the business to help improve our products and services.
- Monitoring and reporting on the service desk, and providing support as required.
- Conducting research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organisations, customer demographics, new technologies and more.
- Proactive reporting on agreed key business metrics.
- Presenting both written and verbal outputs directly to various stakeholders (internally and externally) in a clear and concise manner.
- Communicating with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Escalating risks and issues to the management team.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualifications in business management, IT, data protection, data analytics or a related field.
- An understanding of management principles, ideally project management.
- An understanding of a professional services environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering strong administrative support to teams.
- Excellent IT and navigational skills throughout Google Workspace.
