About the Role
Insight BIM is looking for an experienced MEP BIM Faculty to deliver practical training and mentor students in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) BIM workflows. The role involves classroom and hands‑on software instruction, course development, and industry-aligned project coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach MEP BIM courses (Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Prepare lesson plans, lab exercises, and assessments.
- Guide students on real-world MEP modeling, clash detection, coordination, and documentation.
- Create and maintain course materials, sample projects, and assessments.
- Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and support placement readiness.
- Stay updated on BIM standards, best practices, and industry tools; incorporate into teaching.
- Coordinate with administration for workshops, guest lectures, and industry tie-ups.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in MEP BIM implementation or 2+ years teaching/training experience.
- Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP; familiarity with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud and Clash Detection workflows.
- Portfolio of MEP BIM projects or training modules preferred.
