SAFETY ENGINEER
Job Summary
We at Ellipsis Group, comprising Keiyan MEP, Frontier Furniture & Touchwood Interiors take pride in continuous evolution. We’re searching for a highly qualified Safety Officer. The Safety Officer will work closely with project managers, architects and construction teams to promote a culture of safety and mitigate potential risks associated with the workplace environment. By fostering a strong safety Culture, the safety officer will contribute to the overall growth of the organisation.
About The Role
To ensure the safety and well-being of every worker before any task begins. The Safety Officer plays a vital role in creating a safe working environment, identifying potential hazards, controlling risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across all fit-out activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct daily site inspections and risk assessments to identify and eliminate hazards.S
· Ensure all workers and subcontractors follow PPE requirements and site safety procedures.
· Stop any unsafe work immediately and implement corrective actions.
· Provide safety induction training for all new workers and visitors.
· Prepare for emergency situations and ensure emergency equipment is maintained and accessible.
· Encourage open communication about safety concerns and promote continuous improvement.
· Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and safety meetings.
· Support the project team in meeting all statutory and client HSE requirements.
· Developing comprehensive safety policies and designing safety devices or procedures for machinery and facilities.
· If Any, analyzing accidents, near-misses, and safety breaches to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
· Designing safety programs for employees, including PPE usage and emergency protocols.
· Maintaining detailed records, analyzing accident trends, and recommending improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
· Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience as a Safety Officer in the interior fit-out or construction industry.
· Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
