Job Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. You will work closely with our product, development, and marketing teams to create seamless user experiences from concept to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research: Conduct user research to understand target audience needs, behaviors, and pain points. Use insights to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Design low and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that communicate design concepts effectively.
- UI Design: Create visually stunning, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that align with the brand’s guidelines and enhance usability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, meet user needs, and align with business goals.
- User Testing: Conduct usability tests and iterate on designs based on feedback and performance data.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all user interfaces and digital platforms.
- Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our designs are modern and cutting-edge.
- Feedback and Iteration: Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and clients. Be open to constructive feedback and iteratively improve designs based on team and user input.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role (3-5 years preferred)
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects, including web and mobile app designs
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar
- Solid understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and responsive design
- Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing methodologies
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and how designs translate into code (optional but a plus)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance creativity with technical feasibility
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in Agile or similar iterative development environments
- Knowledge of design systems and creating consistent visual patterns
- Experience with animation and micro-interactions design
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and best practices
