This role focuses on supporting project cost management by setting up and maintaining cost control systems and tools (especially EcoSys). The individual is responsible for tracking project spending, preparing cost reports, analysing variances, and maintaining accurate financial data such as budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
They work closely with project teams and procurement to update forecasts, review changes, and identify cost-saving opportunities, while also supporting invoicing and contract processes. The role requires regular participation in project meetings to ensure adherence to cost control standards.

Develop, implement, and maintain project controls systems, procedures, and standards to ensure effective cost management.
- Coordinate the implementation of the EcoSys cost control tool, including user training and ongoing support.
- Track, analyze, and report project expenditures against budgets and forecasts, including preparation of monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and dashboards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project budgets, actual costs, forecasts, acruals, and cash flow projections.
- Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and procurement teams to update forecasts, evaluate change orders, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support contract management and invoicing processes by reviewing invoices, monitoring accruals, and providing cost-related insights.
- Participate in project meetings to provide project controls updates and ensure compliance with internal project controls standards.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in cost control, preferably in major EPCM projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, cost allocation, and financial risk management.
- Bilingual French + English.

Proficiency in project controls software in Ecosys.
- Knowledge of Excel, Aconex Cost, Primavera P6, Power BI .
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
