Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT Accountancy teacher to teach senior secondary students (Grades XI & XII) under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong conceptual knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations while making commerce subjects engaging and practical.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Accountancy to Grades XI & XII in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and assessment materials.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding and practical application of accounting principles.
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations.
- Provide doubt-clearing sessions and academic mentoring.
- Maintain student records, academic reports, and progress documentation.
- Participate in parent interactions and academic review meetings.
- Collaborate with the Commerce department for curriculum planning and execution.
- Contribute to school activities, mentoring, and overall student development.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- M.Com. (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Preferred / Mandatory as per CBSE norms)
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary (XI & XII).
- Experience teaching CBSE curriculum is highly preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Accountancy and Commerce concepts.
- Ability to simplify accounting concepts using practical examples.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Effective communication skills (English mandatory; Kannada is an advantage).
- Student-centric teaching methodology.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and technology.
