Key Responsibilities
- Track trucks using GPS, ELDs, and carrier tracking systems.
- Contact drivers regularly to obtain location updates.
- Update brokers and customers with accurate ETA information.
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Monitor delays due to weather, traffic, border crossings, or mechanical issues.
- Schedule check calls (e.g., every 2–4 hours or as required by customers).
- Update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with shipment status.
- Resolve issues such as late arrivals, missed appointments, or detention.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, brokers, warehouses, and receivers.
- Maintain records of PODs (Proof of Delivery), BOLs, and shipment documents.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication (phone and email)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of North American trucking operations
- Understanding of Hours of Service (HOS)
- Familiarity with load boards and TMS software
- Problem-solving and customer service skills
Typical Daily Workflow
- Review all active loads.
- Verify drivers are on schedule.
- Contact drivers for status updates.
- Update brokers and customers with ETAs.
- Resolve delays and appointment changes.
- Confirm deliveries and collect PODs.
- Close completed loads in the TMS.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
