This role focuses on the day-to-day maintenance, security, and optimization of our hosting environment. You will be the "gatekeeper" of digital infrastructure, ensuring our websites and applications stay online and perform efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Server Monitoring: Regularly checking server health, uptime, and performance metrics.
- Account Management: Creating, configuring, and deleting hosting accounts (e.g., via cPanel, Plesk, or AWS console).
- Backups & Recovery: Managing automated backup schedules and performing restores if data is lost.
- Security Maintenance: Installing SSL certificates, updating software patches, and monitoring for suspicious activity.
- Domain Management: Handling domain registrations, renewals, and DNS configurations (A records, MX records, etc.).
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving site errors, slow loading times, or email delivery issues.
Requirements
- Foundational Tech Knowledge: A basic understanding of how the internet works (DNS, IP addresses, and browsers).
- Problem-Solving Skills: A logical approach to troubleshooting when things go wrong.
- Detail-Oriented: Mistakes on a server can take websites offline, so high attention to detail is critical.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
- Reliability: Since servers run 24/7, the candidate must be dependable during scheduled maintenance windows.
Experience
- No direct experience required: We are willing to train the right candidate from the ground up.
- Preferred (but not mandatory): * Familiarity with hosting control panels (like cPanel or DirectAdmin).
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with Linux or Command Line (CLI) is a major plus.
- Any previous role in IT support or web development.
Pay: ₹10,399.25 - ₹24,200.51 per month
