Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Resource Planner (RMG) to manage and optimize resource allocation across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Delivery Heads, and HR teams to ensure efficient utilization of resources, accurate tracking, and timely fulfillment of project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Resource Allocation & Management
- Manage end-to-end resource allocation based on project requirements, staffing sheets, skill sets, and resource availability.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources across projects.
- Track resource movements, including onboarding, offboarding, roll-offs, and transitions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date allocation data in HRMS/RMG tools.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
- Manage allocation extensions, replacements, and confirmations.
- Proactively escalate resource gaps, delays, or mismatches to RMG Leads.
3. Demand & Supply Planning
- Maintain visibility of available resources and upcoming bandwidth.
- Support Talent acquisition team by forecasting the hiring
- Identify skill gaps, excess capacity, and resource shortages in advance.
- Provide actionable insights for hiring and internal movements.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and share weekly/monthly reports on resource utilization, availability, and allocation.
- Analyze data to improve resource planning efficiency.
- Track key metrics such as utilization, bench strength, and fulfillment timelines.
- Maintain documentation of allocation changes and resource planning activities.
5. Process Compliance & Governance
- Ensure resource allocation aligns with project timelines, SOWs, and budgets.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and RMG processes.
- Support timesheet tracking, audit requirements, and HRMS data accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement in resource management processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, PMO, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with HRMS/RMG tools for allocation tracking and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in IT services or consulting environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of skill-based resource allocation and capacity planning.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
