Role Overview
Looking for an experienced and disciplined Assembly Line Supervisor to oversee the production of our commercial kitchen equipment, including deck ovens, pizza ovens, grillers, and fryers. The ideal candidate will bring a background in high-precision assembly—preferably from the Indian home appliance sector—to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Oversee the daily operations of the assembly line to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Workflow Optimization: Monitor the assembly process for ovens, grillers, and fryers, identifying bottlenecks and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to improve output.
- Quality Control: Ensure every unit leaving the line adheres to company quality standards and safety certifications.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of assembly technicians and labourers. Manage shift schedules and performance evaluations.
- Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure all components and raw materials are available for the day’s production run.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized "5S" environment.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Assist the team in resolving mechanical or electrical assembly issues during the production process.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of supervisory experience in an assembly line environment. Direct experience in the Indian Home Appliance industry (e.g., manufacturing of geysers, microwaves, or hobs) is highly preferred.
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, electrical wiring, and heating element integration.
- Soft Skills: Strong command over local languages (Punjabi/Hindi) and basic English for reporting.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage a diverse floor team and maintain discipline on the production line.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
