About the Role
Are you organized, high-energy, and passionate about the events industry? We are looking for an Event Sales Coordinator to join our growing events division. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our sales team—managing the administrative flow, handling initial client inquiries, and coordinating logistics to turn potential leads into unforgettable events.
Working directly with the Head of Events, you will help manage a diverse portfolio of Corporate events, MICE, Weddings, and Social celebrations, ensuring a seamless transition from the initial pitch to the final breakdown.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead Management: Serve as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries via phone, WhatsApp Business, email, and social media. Smartly qualify leads based on budget, dates, and guest count.
- Proposals & Tracking: Create tailored event proposals, detailed cost sheets, and client agreements. Keep our sales trackers (Excel/Google Sheets) highly organized and up-to-date.
- Site Inspections: Schedule and occasionally lead venue walk-throughs (recces) with clients, showcasing our spaces and capabilities confidently.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate directly with internal teams (F&B/Catering, Production, Decor, and Banquets) to lock down rates, dates, and setup feasibility before final pitches go out.
- Client Relations: Follow up with clients post-event to secure feedback, collect glowing testimonials, and uncover future referral opportunities.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Education: Graduate degree. A specialization in Event Management, Mass Communication, or Hospitality is a major plus.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a sales support, customer-facing, or coordination role (ideally within banquets, wedding agencies, or event firms). Energetic freshers with solid event internship experience are welcome to apply!
- Communication: Exceptional spoken and written English & Hindi.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for budgeting) and Google Workspace. Experience using WhatsApp Business or basic CRMs is an advantage.
- Mindset: A calm-under-pressure multitasker who can hit quick turnaround times (TAT) and thrives during peak event seasons.
- Availability: True flexibility. Events don't just happen 9-to-5; you must be willing to work weekends and late evenings based on event calendars.
Benefits
- Flexible scheduling built around event timelines
