AGM / DGM – Central Planning & Order Management
Function Operations – Central Planning Reports to Director – Operations Team Operations Executives – client servicing & order management desk Type Full-time, on rolls ROLE P URPOSE Own the complete customer order journey from design sign-off to material delivery at site — order release, production planning to the factory, project prioritisation, milestone payment collection, customer communication and dispatch handover to supply chain. This is the central control tower that converts a multi-city order book into a single sequenced production and delivery plan, and holds the commercial and readiness gates that protect the factory from incomplete orders and the customer from broken commitments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Order release & sign-off gate. Validate every design sign-off pack — drawings, BOM, customer approval, site re-measurement, commercial closure — before it enters the production queue. Reject incomplete packs back to design within a defined TAT. Production planning. Convert the live order book into a rolling weekly and monthly plan for the factory. Load-balance against capacity and machine-wise constraints; confirm bought-out availability with supply chain before release; track plan vs. actual daily. Prioritisation. Maintain a single central priority list across all Experience Centres, sequenced on site readiness, payment status, committed handover date and factory load. Authority to re-sequence; escalate when a committed date is at risk. Payment control & collection. Own milestone-wise collection across sign-off, pre-production and pre-dispatch stages. Hold release where payment conditions are unmet; exceptions only via the defined approval route. Own collection efficiency and outstanding ageing. Customer communication. Ensure every customer receives structured, scheduled updates from sign-off to delivery. Define communication SLAs, scripts and templates; log every interaction in the system; act as escalation point through the pre-delivery phase. Dispatch handover. Release dispatch instructions to Supply Chain with room-wise sequencing and confirmed site readiness. Own OTIF at site and closure of shortages, wrong-sequence dispatches and damage claims. Team leadership. Lead, structure and grow the Operations Executive desk — project load mapping, escalation matrix, daily review cadence, KRAs, training, communication quality audits, hiring and attrition control. MIS & governance. Publish the daily order book, WIP ageing and exception register; weekly review pack to operations leadership; drive ERP data discipline and automation of planning and communication workflows.
