Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Sourcing : Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for composite materials, resins, fibers, adhesives, and consumables. Issue purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders in alignment with company policies. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to optimize cost and quality.
- Supplier & Vendor Management : Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration. Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance. o Ensure suppliers meet AS9100, aerospace/defense, and company-specific quality standards.
- Inventory & Material Management : Track inventory levels and coordinate with stores to prevent shortages or overstock. Support MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) procurement for critical projects. Liaise with production, quality, and engineering teams to align procurement with project schedules.
- Compliance & Documentation : Ensure procurement documentation complies with internal processes, ISO/AS9100, and customer requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, agreements, and vendor certifications. Handle import/export documentation for specialized composite materials as required.
- Cost & Process Optimization : Support cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, bulk buying, or strategic procurement. Assist in developing procurement strategies for aerospace and defense projects. Continuously improve procurement processes for efficiency and reliability.
- Material Receipt & Verification : Receive incoming raw materials, consumables, tools, and components as per purchase orders. Verify material quantity, quality, and accompanying documents (GRN, CoC, Test Certificates, etc.). Ensure materials are properly identified and tagged.
- Storage & Handling : Store materials systematically in designated racks, bins, or cold storage as per requirements (e.g., prepregs, adhesives, CFRP materials). Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO (First-In-First-Out / First-Expiry-First-Out) for shelf life materials. Maintain safe and clean storage conditions as per EHS standards.
- Compliance & Documentation : Maintain proper records of material movement, shelf life monitoring, and traceability. Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001, AS9100, customer audits). Ensure adherence to company’s SCM and quality procedures.
- Qualification & Experience :
- Education: Diploma/Graduate in Supply Chain Management / Materials Management / Commerce / Engineering.
- Experience: 1–3 years in stores/inventory management.
Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
