Lead Software Engineer (.NET)

FULL-TIME, PERMANENT, HYBRID

Exciting opportunity in Bangalore, India for a Lead Software (.Net) Engineer to work on our Public Relations platform. If you have a passion for coding, strong communication skills and a track record of developing multi-user applications then this is a great role for you.
Location : This role will be based out of The Leela Office located on the 4th Floor, Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bangalore- 560008. Our expectation at this time, is that you would work from our office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
Day to day responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Your work tasks / responsibilities
- Design and develop state of the art, modern, high performing, scalable web applications.
- Review of feature documentation and assisting the team in breaking down all features into stories for the team backlog.
- You will own all the technical specifications created for your module. There will be other developers who will contribute in achieving this.
- You will also be responsible for doing code review for the team members
- Ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements of existing systems and platforms.
- Active participation in building and improving our continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD).
- Participation (virtual or in person) in planning meetings for coordination between the Scrum teams.
- Participation in the continuous improvement of our Agile and DevOps culture and engineering best practices.
- Monitoring system performance and creation of highly scalable and operable systems.
Independent and joint development of solutions for complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, preferably in languages such as .NET Core/ASP.NET Core or .NET Framework, .NET C#, TypeScript, nodeJS, JavaScript.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in master data management, including proficiency in organizing and optimizing data in Microsoft SQL Server relational databases. Familiarity with non-relational NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Good understanding of any modern frontend framework like Angular (preferred) or React.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of overall experience in the field of software engineering.
- Proper microservices architecture, patterns and serverless computing knowledge.
- Good understanding of .NET web application development, build and deployment.
- Skills in optimizing .NET applications for performance in a cloud environment, including scalability, caching, and load balancing
- Docker and Kubernetes, and experience in deploying and managing containers in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a must.
- Collaborative working habits that accelerate the team.
- Very good spoken and written English.
