About the Role
Mia Cuccinna is a premium Italian restaurant and bar in Bandra West, Mumbai. We are looking for a well-groomed, confident, and guest-focused Junior Restaurant Executive to join our front-of-house team.
The ideal candidate should have a pleasant personality, good communication skills, and a passion for hospitality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional approach.
- Assist guests with seating, table allocation, and basic restaurant requirements.
- Explain the menu, food items, beverages, and ongoing offers to guests.
- Take guest orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Ensure timely and smooth service throughout the guest's dining experience.
- Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly attend to their requests.
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Maintain proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager and senior team with daily restaurant operations.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure orders are served accurately and on time.
- Assist with reservations, guest enquiries, and table management.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere within the restaurant.
- Follow all company standards related to grooming, hygiene, service, and guest experience.
- Support the team during busy periods, events, and special occasions.
Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, café, or hospitality environment.
- candidates with experience in premium/lifestyle restaurants will be preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and guest-handling skills.
- Pleasant, confident, and outgoing personality.
- Well-groomed and professionally presented.
- Good knowledge of basic restaurant service and etiquette.
- Customer-focused with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverages will be an advantage.
