Job Role & Responsibilities
- Tender Identification
- Search and monitor tender opportunities from government portals, e-procurement websites, and private sector sources.
- Analyze tender notices and evaluate eligibility criteria, scope of work, and submission requirements.
- Tender Preparation & Submission
- Prepare technical and commercial tender documents as per tender guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments (technical, finance, legal, procurement) for required documents and inputs.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders through online or offline modes.
- Documentation Management
- Maintain updated records of tender documents, EMD, tender fees, and other statutory documents.
- Prepare company profile, past experience details, and compliance documents required for tender participation.
- Costing & BOQ Preparation
- Assist in preparation of BOQ, cost estimation, and pricing strategy in coordination with the estimation and finance team.
- Review tender specifications, drawings, and terms & conditions.
- Tender Portal Handling
- Handle e-tendering portals such as GeM, CPPP, state procurement portals, and other private portals.
- Upload tender documents and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- Follow-up & Clarifications
- Attend pre-bid meetings and prepare clarification queries if required.
- Coordinate with clients for tender-related clarifications and updates.
- Bid Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain tender status reports (submitted, under evaluation, awarded, or rejected).
- Track bid opening results and prepare internal reports for management.
- Compliance & Risk Assessment
- Review tender terms and conditions to identify risks and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all submissions follow company policies and tender regulations.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of tendering procedures and e-procurement portals
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination ability
- Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, and contract terms
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and tender portals
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering / Commerce / Business Administration preferred)
