Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Sales Manager – Lab Equipment to drive sales and expand our customer base in the scientific and laboratory segment. The candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling laboratory instruments and solutions to industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, research institutions, and educational labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in laboratories, research centers, hospitals, and industrial clients
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, product demonstration, negotiation, and closure
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for lab equipment and solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and channel partners
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders for institutional and corporate clients
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals
- Maintain and update sales pipeline and CRM systems
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities
- Coordinate with technical/service teams for installation, training, and after-sales support
- Ensure timely collections and customer satisfaction

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of laboratory equipment / scientific instrument sales
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical clients
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of B2B sales and institutional sales (tenders preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
- Strong problem-solving and consultative selling approach
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (BSc), Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Business Administration
- 2–4 years of experience in lab equipment / scientific / medical device sales
- Prior experience in handling pharma, research labs, or hospitals is preferred
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
