About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Parametric Designer with strong expertise in Rhino and Grasshopper to develop complex architectural and façade designs using parametric and computational design techniques.
The candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models, parametric systems, façade patterns, fabrication-ready designs, and design solutions that can be efficiently implemented in production and on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop parametric 3D models and façade designs using Rhino and Grasshopper.
- Create complex geometries, patterns, panels, louvers, screens, and architectural façade systems.
- Develop Grasshopper definitions to automate repetitive design and modelling processes.
- Convert architectural concepts into practical and fabrication-friendly parametric models.
- Create customizable design systems where dimensions, patterns, and geometry can be easily modified.
- Prepare detailed 3D models, layouts, fabrication drawings, and production data.
- Generate panelization and component layouts for façade systems.
- Optimize designs for material usage, fabrication, assembly, and installation.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, production teams, and site teams.
- Modify designs based on project requirements, site measurements, and engineering inputs.
- Ensure that designs are technically feasible and suitable for manufacturing.
- Develop design variations and options quickly using parametric workflows.
- Maintain organized Grasshopper definitions and project files.
- Support the team in resolving design and fabrication-related issues.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Rhinoceros (Rhino).
- Strong proficiency in Grasshopper.
- Good understanding of parametric and computational design.
- Experience in developing complex 3D geometries and façade patterns.
- Knowledge of surface modelling, mesh modelling, panelization, and geometry manipulation.
- Ability to create efficient and well-structured Grasshopper definitions.
- Understanding of architectural drawings and 3D modelling.
- Good understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python/C# scripting in Grasshopper will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Kangaroo, LunchBox, Weaverbird, Ladybug, Human, or other Grasshopper plugins will be an advantage.

Qualification
- B.Arch / B.Des / B.Tech / Diploma in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Rhino, Grasshopper, and parametric design.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
