We are seeking an experienced Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) to lead our Small Animal Hospital, drive clinical excellence, mentor veterinary professionals, and oversee high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical and operational management of the Small Animal Hospital.
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions in companion animals, primarily dogs and cats.
- Oversee OPD, IPD, Emergency, ICU, and Critical Care services.
- Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures.
- Establish and implement clinical protocols, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care, infection control, and medical ethics.
- Lead, mentor, and train veterinary doctors, surgeons, interns, and nursing staff.
- Manage hospital workflows, duty rosters, and case allocation.
- Review complex medical and surgical cases and provide clinical guidance.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations.
- Collaborate with management to improve hospital operations, client satisfaction, and service quality.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the veterinary team.
Eligibility
- BVSc & AH from a recognized university.
- Valid State Veterinary Council Registration.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Small Animal Practice.
- Strong expertise in OPD, IPD, Emergency Medicine, and Soft Tissue Surgery.
- Prior leadership or team management experience is preferred.
- Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
