Job Description
Role Purpose
The Advisory Embedment Team Member is responsible for ensuring Advisory services are properly embedded, coded, and reported within large and medium deals. This role acts as a bridge between Advisory, Sales, Delivery, and Finance teams to ensure accurate tagging, pricing, and reporting of Advisory work, including clear separation of Tech and Non-Tech components within projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Advisory services are consistently and correctly embedded in large and medium-sized deals from deal shaping through closure.
- Validate that Advisory work is accurately coded and tagged in deal management and financial systems.
- Ensure Tech and Non-Tech components within projects are clearly identified, tagged, and priced correctly in the system.
- Review deal structures to confirm alignment with Advisory service offerings, pricing models, and commercial guidelines.
- Maintain and produce regular reports on Advisory embedment percentages across deals, providing insights and trends to stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales, Advisory Leads, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies and improve embedment accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement of embedment processes, tools, and reporting methodologies.
- Provide guidance and clarification to deal teams on Advisory embedment standards and requirements.
Key Deliverables
- Accurate tagging and coding of Advisory work in deal systems.
- Reliable reporting on Advisory embedment percentages for large and medium deals.
- Clear identification and pricing of Tech vs. Non-Tech components within projects.
- Issue logs and resolution tracking for embedment or tagging discrepancies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of deal structures, commercial models, and professional services delivery.
- High attention to detail with strong data validation and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply pricing, tagging, and service classification standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Advisory, Consulting Operations, Deal Management, or Finance Operations.
- Experience supporting medium to large-scale deals.
- Experience in Advisory /Consulting work and basic knowledge of AI Tools
Additional Information
- This is a full-time, permanent role.
- This role is located in India.
- This role follows a hybrid working model, blending home-based work with a minimum of 4 day per quarter in the office (to be confirmed based on primary location and business need). Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
