Role: Logistics Intern
Key Responsibilities
● Coordinate end-to-end movement and tracking of diagnostic samples from pickup to final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate transportation.
● Monitor pickup-to-delivery timelines and drive TAT (Turnaround Time) adherence across logistics operations.
● Ensure proper cold chain monitoring and temperature-controlled handling of samples during transit from collection to delivery.
● Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, courier partners, and phlebotomists for shipment scheduling and operational execution.
● Maintain accurate records of sample inventory, shipment status, delivery confirmations, and operational reports.
● Prepare and manage logistics documentation including shipping labels, invoices, manifests, and compliance records.
● Proactively monitor shipment progress and resolve delays, discrepancies, escalations, or delivery issues.
● Ensure hygiene standards, professional attire, grooming, and behavioral compliance of phlebotomists and logistics personnel during patient interactions.
● Collect and monitor patient/customer feedback related to sample pickup experience, logistics service quality, and delivery timelines.
● Maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure service quality, operational consistency, and timely execution.
● Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to sample handling and transportation.
Skills & Competencies
● Knowledge of logistics coordination and sample transportation processes.
● Understanding of cold chain management and temperature-sensitive shipment handling.
● Strong communication and coordination skills.
● Ability to manage operational escalations and multitask efficiently.
● Good documentation and reporting skills.
● Customer service orientation and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualification & Experience
● Graduate in Logistics, Healthcare Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
