The Team You’ll Join
At Envestnet, we're transforming how servicing solutions are built and delivered. As part of our UMP Servicing Product Development Team, you'll work on cloud-native, enterprise-scale applications that power critical business workflows across the Unified Managed Platform (UMP). We're looking for engineers who don't just write code—they leverage AI as a force multiplier to build better software, solve problems faster, and deliver exceptional outcomes.
How You’ll Contribute
You will play a key role in building and enhancing scalable enterprise applications by translating business requirements into high-quality, maintainable code. Your contributions will directly impact platform stability, performance, and the delivery of reliable solutions to clients.
- Build and enhance scalable applications using Java, Spring, AWS, and Microservices
- Design and develop RESTful services and enterprise integrations
- Translate business requirements into high-quality, maintainable solutions
- Troubleshoot complex issues and drive root-cause resolution
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment
- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, code reviews, and documentation
- Drive automation, innovation, and continuous improvement across the SDLC
What You’ll Need to Bring
- 3–6 years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java and Spring Framework
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, and relational databases (MS SQL or similar)
- Solid understanding of software design principles, SDLC, and Agile practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development platforms
- Ability to combine AI-generated outputs with strong engineering judgment to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions
- Passion for learning and adopting emerging AI technologies and engineering practices
Nice-to-Haves
- AWS and cloud-native development experience
- Microservices architecture and distributed systems
- ReactJS or modern front-end frameworks
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Wealth Management or Financial Services domain knowledge
- Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI solutions
