About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Medical Representative to promote and sell specialized diabetic footwear. The role involves working closely with doctors, hospitals, diabetic clinics, and patients to provide customized footwear solutions that help prevent diabetic foot complications. The candidate will also be responsible for foot assessment, size measurement, and recommending suitable footwear based on individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote diabetic footwear products to diabetologists, endocrinologists, podiatrists, orthopedic specialists, physiotherapists, clinics, and hospitals.
- Educate healthcare professionals and patients on diabetic foot care, ulcer prevention, and the benefits of specialized footwear.
- Conduct patient consultations and assist in selecting appropriate diabetic footwear.
- Measure foot size accurately using foot assessment tools and fitting techniques.
- Analyze foot conditions such as pressure points, deformities, calluses, neuropathy-related concerns, and other diabetic foot complications.
- Recommend suitable footwear solutions based on foot assessment findings and medical recommendations.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals to provide customized footwear solutions when required.
- Conduct product demonstrations, awareness programs, diabetic camps, and foot screening sessions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Collect market feedback, competitor information, and customer insights.
- Maintain records of patient assessments, doctor visits, sales activities, and follow-ups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Experience in medical sales, healthcare products, orthopedic products, footwear sales, or medical devices is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn diabetic foot assessment may also apply.
- A basic understanding of diabetes and diabetic foot complications is an advantage.
- Ability to perform foot measurements and understand foot biomechanics after training.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Valid driving license and own vehicle preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
