Job Summary:
A Gardener is responsible for planting, maintaining, and caring for gardens, lawns, flowers, trees, and shrubs in residential, commercial, or public spaces. They ensure outdoor areas remain healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and grass
- Water and fertilize plants regularly
- Mow lawns and trim hedges
- Remove weeds and dead plants
- Prune trees and shrubs
- Monitor plant health and treat pests or diseases
- Maintain gardening tools and equipment
- Design and improve garden layouts
- Clean outdoor areas and dispose of garden waste
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of plants, soil, and gardening techniques
- Ability to operate gardening equipment safely
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Basic knowledge of pest control and irrigation systems
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous gardening or landscaping experience is an advantage
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- May require lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods
Salary Range:
Varies depending on location, employer, and experience.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
